During the past decade I have been fortunate to chronicalize the highlights of several Tuskegee Airmen that flew combat in WWII.  Also, I have interviewed a number of Black veterans of the WWII Army and Navy. With that said, I've discovered the bold history of another 400 + Tuskegee Airmen air crew that were trail-blazers as officers of the WWII Stateside Experience. There were several thousand enlisted men who kept them flying in preperation for war overseas, while fighting a war for civil equality within the cities and towns of the USA. Within the last five years, international recognition as a Tuskegee Airmen historian has become an addition to my porfolio. (For this I thank my dad, the late Johnny L. Brown HQ & HQ Detachment 28th Quartermaster Battalion, WWII European Theater of Operations).
